Fark Headline – Man participating in the Richard Petty Driving Experience has a Dale Earnhardt Experience
Straight from the Miami Herald: “A 60-year-old man has died after crashing a car at a NASCAR racing ride for amateurs at Daytona International Speedway.The Richard Petty Driving Experience said Robert Boswell of Apopka had completed his third lap at 125 mph when he began driving erratically. He slumped over and crashed the car into a concrete retaining wall Sunday. He died later at a hospital.
Police said the accident is still under investigation.
Speedway officials said this was the first Richard Petty Driving Experience death at Daytona. Participants pay from $135 to more than $2,000 to ride or drive a NASCAR-type car.”
