I often wonder just what exactly do the astronauts do up there on a daily basis. I mean yeah, you hear that they run science experiments up there but what are they? Like “if you put a tomato seed in a pot of dirt, in the weightlessness of space, how do the roots grow?” I’ve never heard of any of the results. Plus, how long does it take to look at the plant and say “No significant growth today. Next test!” I mean its not like its very big up there so how many science projects are they running up there?
Do they have time to goof off?
Do they ever get bored because there’s nothing to do?
Or…..
Are they up there doing stuff that we don’t know about and they won’t tell the public? Ala Area 51 type stuff?
